So they are finally out! Spring dramas have begun!! <3 So happy right now ^^ (even though school starts tomorrow...)

Kaibutsu-kun doesn't have any subs yet, but it was fairly easy to understand. Ohno was cute and the story seems adorable, but not anything super deep (which is fine with me because I tend to like comedy better).

On the other hand, Troubleman, even with subs, was really hard to understand. It felt so random that I started laughing. I'm sure it will all make sense later though. I feel better since even Koyama wrote in his nikki that it didn't make sense to him. I'm really happy for Shige that he is the star in this show and I'm sure he'll do a good job with it. Also congratz to NEWS for being the theme song! Its about time they did drama theme music! It is also a really catchy tune and very NEWSish. My question is, when are you going to sell us this wonderful single!? I guess it would be better for my wallet if they waited since I just bought Sakura Girl and Tegomass no Ai is on preorder. Really need to find a job...

Oh and I ended up watching the new drama with Eita and Ueno Juri. It seems like a very good, original plot! I was thinking at the beginning that it sort of reminded me of Last Friends (except without the lesbian and an abusive boyfriend) and then later I found out it was the same screen writer! I was looking at her work and she has written a lot of famous dramas so I'm betting this is going to be a new hit.

Well that's it for now! I'm excited for all these Spring dramas! Spring is usually a good time since a lot of JE boys are starring in dramas (its before concert season begins) of course most dramas have a least one JE to ensure it will be successful. Where would dramas be without their fangirls?

um, anyone besides me SUPER excited that a Johnny's boy is FINALLY coming to the U.S.!?!? Sadly it is right during the time that I'm in college so I'll be in Idaho instead of my usual hometown in California V.V I'm super bummed by this. I've tried to figure out ways to get to L.A. for the weekend to go to Jin's concert but nothing was working out and my parents kept lecturing me on how I should be using my money on tuition....So my friend and I decided that we better just save up our money to see NEWS or Arashi since we like them better (no offense to Jin lovers, I love him too. Its just NEWS and Arashi are my top favorites).

There have been rumors that Jin might be doing more concerts since he is going to be here till October so hopefully he will plan concerts in August, when I'm home again!

Well, congratz Jin for having your dream come true!

Hopefully Arashi will perform next in the U.S. (I mean, there are only so many times you can tour all of Asia until you finally get bored...)

So even though its way earlier than when PVs are usually released, NEWS's "Sakura Girl" PV has already been released! yay! *flails*

Its a super sad song and the PV basically goes through all the NEWS members being broken up with. Ryo's was so sad because the girl actually slapped him (which apparently he requests O.o DoM?). I was pretty much close to tears the whole time, beginning when Tesshi cried at the beginning. The acting in this PV was just great. I loved Massu's expression when he got broken up with over a SMS (poor guy!).

The only problem with the PV was there was something up with the lip-syncing and I don't think it was just the boys doing a really bad job. If you actually watch their lips, you will notice the sound is actually off by like a second or so. It seems like the sound guys didn't do all the great of a job putting the music over the video. The whole thing seemed just kind of weird...also when I watched the behind the scenes, they were having terrible weather so the Sakura pedals were going too fast so they talked about slowing the video down. I'm guessing they did it when the boys weren't singing and were just walking, but it does make me wonder if they did end up slowing it down while the boys were walking so that might have been another reason why the music was off. The last possible answer could be that because Johnny is a dirtbag and hasn't had them make a new single in almost a year, NEWS is out of practice in their lipsyncing...I mean there were some spots where Koyama or Shige were barely opening their mouths. I haven't seen lip-syncing that bad since KAT-TUN's old songs *don't kill me!* But still I think there was a mixture of reasons because seriously, the music is actually off. You can tell when Tegoshi and Yamapi and singing and they move to the next word before the word is done and those two are one of the most talented in the group so there MUST be something up with the sound.

Anyway, besides all of that, its a beautiful PV with a beautiful song. Please buy and support the boys!!!

I kept seeing "Tegomass no Ai" popping up on people's facebook statuses and blogs but I kept thinking to myself "nah, they couldn't be releasing something so close to Sakura Girl's release!" V.V they are...Tegomass is releasing a mini-cd (shorter than an album, longer than a single...how about we call it a mini-cd! yay!)  Normally I would be super excited for this but after buying $80 worth of magazines and cds in SF and that not including the expensive food and gas for that day and buying NEWS's calendar AND buying Sakura Girl, my wallet it starting to hurt...luckily I have been working a lot so I had enough money to buy Tegomass's album but still...why couldn't they waited a little longer! (probably because they knew I was considering buying Arashi's 5x10 DVD and Tegomass got jealous...)

Anyway, I just bought the RE of Tegomass no Ai since its cheaper and has more songs. Plus I can just get the DVDs from the LE from newshfan in a language I actually understand. Also I've noticed RE tend to have better CD jackets. Not always, but out of my experiences they have. Like I was super bummed when I saw the CD jacket for NEWS's LE jacket (which I bought for the sole purpose of hearing their amazing accapella) which just had a dumb picture of a girl on it while the RE has NEWS actually on it V0V NANDE!!!??? Its official that Johnny hates me. I have seriously come to the conclusion that Johnny is a DoS. He enjoys to make fangirls suffer. Although one thing JE has taught me is how to make decisions. I'm usually pretty slow at making decisions. I hate going to restaurants for that reason. They only give you like 5 minutes to decide on what you want to eat but then you have to wait 30+ minutes to actually get the food...meh...Anyway, I was looking through my lovely NEWS calendar again and was trying to figure out why they would have solo pictures on the back of the group ones and why they went upside down. It made me sad because I wouldn't see the solo ones as much as the group ones. Then I turned my calendar upside down and to my dismay realized there were two ways you can have your calendar...you can either go through the year with group pictures or you can choose to go through the year with solo pictures. Why Johnny, WHY!? Even though its amazing they came up with an idea like that, it also means I'll have to choose which side has the better pictures! :'( I seriously sat there for an hour trying to make up my mind of which way I wanted my calendar to go so I wouldn't have to decide once the official "calendar school year" began in April. I finally came to the conclusion to use the group shots so I could see all the boys every week and also not have to see the pictures of Tegoshi that make me jealous because he makes a prettier girl than me...(lol)

I think once I'm done with the year since I obviously won't want to put away the calendar, I just switch it over for next year, even if the days are wrong. (Of course I'll probably buy next year's calendar too since they are so amazing so I'll just have them side by side) Oh and the poster that came with the calendar is AMAZING!!! I'm so loving it! I still haven't put it up yet because in 3 weeks I'm moving back to Idaho for college (winter is my off-track so I go home to California and miss the whole below freezing crap you get in Idaho). Luckily I already know one of my roommates who knows of my deep love for JE because I'm pretty sure my other two roommates are going to think I'm insane because I have a billion and one posters now plus the giant one of NEWS. I will also have the NEWS calendar on my desk AND I'll have a ton of CDs. This isn't even including the ghetto pictures I use to print out when I didn't have any posters yet...but you know what, its so worth it just to look at my boys everyday ^^. he he. Actually I'm thinking my roommate Karrah will appreciate it because maybe I'll spend more time fangirling in my room with my posters (and this time I have a private room, yay!) instead of having to fangirl to her because I had no inanimate objects to talk to. (lol)

I think the only time Karrah was actually afraid for her life while I was fangirling is when the news of NEWS's Winter Diamond Concert DVD was announced. She was just talking to me while I was reading JE stuff on the internet and then in big bold letters there was "NEWS Winter Diamond Concert DVD" and while she was talking I actually started screaming and flailing because so many people were beginning to say NEWS wasn't going to release the DVD that year. Anyway, now after watching Arashi DVDs with me (no, I didn't force her) and watching jdramas with me, Karrah actually said to me "ack! You need to stop watching this stuff before I become an addicted fangirl too!!!" he he ^^v Win for me. She would be the 3rd person I've converted to Japanese stuff.

ANYWAY, this entry ended up making no sense whatsoever...as an ending note, I watched Honey to Clover with Sakurai Sho. It made me cry how cute it was  (although the story of Honey to Clover is still not my favorite even though my Japanese friend Erika is absolutely in love with it and its the only manga she will read seriously). Maybe I'll actually go back and finish the drama for it too. I got half way through because I love Ikuta Toma but the one guy who is like the "art genius" or something was bugging the crap out of me and also it kind of disturbed me that Ikuta Toma's character and the artsy girl were like cousins or something.

So besides having to totally redo my schedule for registration because classes were full, I had a great day! Found out NEWS performed on Music Station (can't believe I forgot!!!) but luckily Yamapi85 had HD quality video of that performance. It was so amazing! Then later today NEWShFAN already had subs! <3 her!

Also I got my NEWS calendar right before the Post Office closed yesterday. I wish I could give the photographer a giant hug for making such amazing pictures of the boys! Also the poster that came with it great! It also made my realize how much my small room is going to be covered in posters I just bought within the last week (^^;). Luckily I already know one of my roommates I'm going to be living with and she knows very well of my JE obsession (and is annoyed that she is finding herself beginning to fall into this deep fandom abyss as well when she ended up watching an entire Arashi concert with me and two jdramas).

I was also looking for the 2nd SP for Odoroki no Arashi all day yesterday and today found it by mistake! It defiantly made my day <3

The only two things that made my day even better than it already was, was eating gyoza and finally being approved to get videos off of aibakaland (Stormy Subs). <3 you Stormy Subs!! Waiting to be able to watch their videos is soooo worth it. Had to wait a week for approval though but its fun to talk with everybody on the forum. Even without the videos, just to be able to talk with fellow Arashi fans across the globe, one should defiantly join that forum!

Yesterday two of my friends and I went to San Francisco's Japantown. It was super fun walking through the mall and looking at all the super adorable stuff they were selling. Of course we started at Kinokuniya Book Store where there was a massive overload of manga on the first floor. I left my two friends there to go upstairs where the "normal" books were. I instantly went to the magazine section and found the lovely Potato, Wink up!, and Myojo magazines ^^. It was seriously heaven as I was fangirling to myself (it was really hard not to talk out loud or fangirl scream). Probably anyone that looked at me was freaked out as I was making up my silence with the weirdest facial expressions like a horny old man watching a porno video. After that I went to the CD section and was excited to see the "Troublemaker" and the "Love yourself" CDs on sale. Of course I had forced a limit of how much money I could spend or else I would have spent all of it just here and I already had four magazines in my hands (but hey, one of them was 50% off!). So instead I just bought Arashi's Anniversary CD.

When I got to the cash register the woman seemed kind of surprised a white, red-headed girl was buying Japanese magazines instead of manga. Especially that this certain red-head had a huge pile of them with a CD on top and had a weird fangirl smile. But I pretty much died inside when she said "That will be $80." Although it was still under my limit of $100 so I was at least thankful for that.

As we continued around the mall, we went to numerous girly shops which I had to hold myself back from buying anymore (especially since I had already got what I came for)...although now that I think back I really should have bought that adorable stuffed Panda...There were also a couple DVD stores but the one that offered subtitles was ridiculously expensive.

Probably the highlight of the trip besides my new magazines with awesome pinups was when I went to the bathroom (wow, that sounds odd by itself). I was in the front of the line waiting for the next stall and then suddenly a Japanese mom and her son came in. The son was run in circles next to the door obviously having to really go. When the stall opened up I offered the mom my spot since the boy looked like he was in serious agony. She said thank you and continued to take her little boy to the bathroom. After wards (dang that boy peed fast...) she kept trying to get the little boy to say thank you, but he was too shy and kept running to the corner. When I had done my business, the mom and the son were still there talking with another woman in Japanese as the boy (who I had learned was named Koki because as I was in the stall the mom kept saying in Japanese "Koki-kun, Oneesan helped you, you need to say 'thank you' (this was said in English)" It felt good being called Oneesan.) kept saying "Haiyaku!!!" The mom smiled at me and gave me a little head nod as I washed my hands. When I turned around she finally got the boy in front of me and was able to get a "thank you" out of him before he tried to run off. Since this was one of my few chances to speak Japanese I responded "Doitashimaste" (you're welcome). My woman was taken back and started smiling and laughing saying "You know Japanese!?" in a joking "why didn't you tell me earlier so it would have been easier for my son kind of way" but I responded I only knew a little bit from 2 semesters of studying it in college. She was super nice and as I left, the boy was still in the corner so I said "bye bye Koki-kun!" Anyway, it was just a fun experience (and Koki-kun was adorable!!!)

If you have a chance to go to Japantown, I suggest you do so. Its small, but the mall is fun and pretty big with a lot of neat stores (and good food!). Defiantly going to go back and buy more magazines.

Although as a side note I had a horrific time with cutting the pin-ups out of the magazine. They kept tearing a little bit (although they are all still in pretty good condition) but every time I heard I rip, I freaked out.

If anybody has any secrets on how to cut those out with out killing them, it would be much appreciated :)

Oh and as another side note, if you have parents that were freaking like mine were with me going to San Francisco (they didn't know where Japantown was) I felt completely safe the whole time. Probably because in the Japantown mall it was a bunch of families and teenagers. Only one crazy guy went passed us but he was busy talking to himself so he didn't bother us.

Ja ne!

Arashi had their performance on Utaban today :D yay! It was so colorful and fun. I'm also glad Sho is back in the performance (and not just some hologram thing). I'm so sad that I missed him in Vancouver V.V well I guess its more that the weather wouldn't let me see him rather than me missing him. I was basically reading every single fan report on his coming to Vancouver since I wasn't able to go...darn snowy mountains!!!

Anyway, now that Troublemaker is out, my next countdown is to NEWS's Sakura Girl ^0^. I'm so excited they made another single! Its almost been a year! I was wondering when they were going to do another one! Of course I think Johnny is being really cruel right now. All of these artists haven't released in awhile and now they are ALL releasing. KAT-TUN, Hey!Say!Jump!, Arashi, NEWS, etc...and NOW they announced Arashi's 5x10 anniversary DVD! I'm happy, but...*looks at wallet and cries*

Guess I should find a job...D:

oh btw, you can get the Utaban performance on the Arashi_On community

ugh, I'm so excited! ^0^ Just got news today that Arashi is releasing their anniversary concert. Life is pretty much amazing right now...and very without money...darn you Johnny! Why do you release everything all at once! (Troublemaker, Sakura Girl, NEWS Calendar, Love yourself, Arashi DVD, etc.) I think Johnny is actually a DoS that loves to see fangirls suffer V.V but at least he eventually delivers!!! (like NEWS's Winter Diamond concert that took FOREVER to release!)
